If you do not qualify in one of the categories listed above then your employer will need to apply for a Work Permit on your behalf.

For more details on the different types of work permit available and the criteria you need to meet please visit the Work Permits section.

If the application is successful you will then be required to apply for an Accession Worker Card in order to begin work in the UK. You will not be able to work without both documents.

An Accession Worker Card can be applied for from outside the UK if you already received an offer of employment.

If you have an offer of employment in one of the above categories or a letter of approval under the work permit arrangements ETCi can process your Accession Worker Card application for a small administrative fee. Please contact us at workpermit@etci.co.uk for further details.

Please be advised that in addition to the work permits listed on this website this also includes work under the SBS (Sector Based Scheme) in the food manufacturing industry. For work opportunities in this sector please contact dominique@etci.co.uk for details of upcoming recruitment fairs in your country.

I DON'T QUALIFY HERE EITHER - WHAT CAN I DO?

You may still be able to work in the UK in one of the other routes.

Let’s now discuss the Yellow Registration Certificate. This is available to those that are self-employed, self-sufficient or students.

ETCi may be able to help you come to the UK as a student on a vocational course.
