WHICH ROUTE IS FOR ME?

 

There are many different and confusing routes available to Bulgarians and Romanians that wish to work in the UK!

 

ETCi hope to make your transition to living and working in the UK easier by explaining which route is most suitable for you and how we can help with your application.

 

To bring it down to the simplest level there are 2 sets of application types. Set 1 is for those that require permission to work in the UK, and set 2 is for those that are exempt.

 

In practice, what this really means is that most people require some kind of permission to work in the UK or are required to apply for a Registration Certificate to prove that they are exempt on the basis of one of the criteria listed on the next page.

 

Very few people are allowed to work in the UK without obtaining one of the following:

 

• Purple Accession Worker Card
• Yellow Registration Certificate
• Blue Registration Certificate
